Collaboration
There are three types of human interactions: conversational, transactional and collaborative.
If you are in the mood to make the correct choice about your software solution, you have to understand the differences that exist between those interactions.
An interaction of conversation is about discovering new information or creating relationships. An example of a transactional interaction might be observed when you go into the store and change your money for groceries.
Interactions of collaboration are structured in such a way that the main goal of those involved is to modify the collaboration substance from what used to be unfixed and immaterial, for example, an idea, into something useful, for instance a blueprint.
Collaboration Software
Collaboration software is related to groupware applications that let people exchange information and work as a team on various tasks.
The power of these tools lies in the ability to allow participants to see action plans, share documents, be updated on projects, manage schedules, optimize business processes, be duely reminded of any tasks and activities they are involved in. There are a number of ways in which this software can be very useful: moderating activities, documents and projects, facilitating business processes and harmonizing work of two or more business units or even firms.
